Two buses collided with each other and fell into the river due to a landslide while going to Kathmandu in Narayangarh and Moglin of neighboring country Nepal, adjacent to Motihari. The names of seven Indians (residents of Bihar) included in the first list of 65 missing people has created a sensation. There is confusion among the family members of the Bihari people who left home on Thursday to go to Kathmandu about whether something untoward happened to their family members in this accident.
In the first list released by the administration, the names of Ansari ji and another person with him, Santosh Thakur, Surendra Sah, Adil Mian, Sunil and Shahnawaz Alam have come up. Their addresses have not been disclosed. The reason for this is that the names of Indian people are registered in the same way in the Angel bus going from Birgunj to Kathmandu which was booked from Birgunj. The said bus is said to be of Rajendra KC of Nepal, which was being driven by Jawahar Mahato of Nagwa. The co-driver of the bus, Chaudhary Tharka and other 21 passengers are included in the list of Nepalese and Indian people released, Ansari ji and another person, Arvind Dubey, Santosh (Makalu Sailun), Surendra Sah (Phalful), Avindiji Harindra Pandit, Sunil, Shahnabaz Alamprakash (Pipra), Parmanand, Hriday Narayan Raut and three others, Salim Miya and his wife Jainbar Khatun (died during treatment in Kathmandu) and two people with Rajul Alam.
According to the information, due to the landslide at the spot, two buses coming from Kathmandu and going towards Kathmandu collided, due to which both the buses fell into the Trishuli river and were swept away by the strong current of water. 25 divers are searching for the bodies.
It is noteworthy that hundreds of Indians keep coming and going to Kathmandu, Nepal every day for livelihood and other business purposes. The hilly road is very narrow and due to this, incidents like buses colliding with each other, colliding with big rocks, landslides, slippery conditions in the valley keep happening every day. Chintawan’s District Magistrate Indradev Yadav said that the bus Ganpati Deluxe going from Kathmandu to Gaur and the bus named Angel going from Birgunj to Kathmandu have fallen into the Trishuli river. There were 41 passengers in the bus going to Gaur. While there were 24 passengers in the bus going to Kathmandu. Only three people have been reported to have survived. Relief and rescue operations are underway. However, according to local people, heavy rains are causing problems in relief and rescue operations. Nepal Army has also been deployed. Both the buses run from the border area of India and Nepal, due to which it is being assumed that there are Indian people also in the bus.
